Restaurant Discounts For Seniors

You’ve worked hard and you deserve to get out and enjoy a good meal with your friends, family and even just yourself without having to break your budget. One of the benefits of aging, aside from all that wisdom you’ve gained, is your access to numerous discounts at some of your favorite restaurants, retailers, grocery stores and more.

It can be difficult to track down where your discount applies, and to what age group. Some businesses begin offering discounts at the age of 50, while others wait and offer at the age of social security eligibility, or 65 years old.

No matter where you fall in the spectrum, if you’ve reached the young age of 50 and better, you’re likely to have senior discounts available to you at many nearby restaurants. We’ve compiled an updated list of nearby restaurants that offer discounts ranging from free drinks and desserts to 10, 15 and even 25% off the price of a meal. Make a date with a friend to visit one of these restaurants soon, and enjoy savings you’ve certainly earned. 

Applebees: Ages 60+ will recieve 10-15% off depending upon location, and some locations may require that you apply for the Golden Apple Card in order to recieve a discount.

Atlanta Bread Company: Ages 65+ recieve 10% off at most locations.

Bonefish Grill: AARP members get 15% off.

Boston Market: Ages 65+ recieve varying discounts at individual locations, so call your preferred location before visiting.

Carrabba’s Grill: AARP members can take 15% off their entire meal.

Chik-Fil-A: Most locations provide a free small drink with purchase or a 10% discount, but all locations are individually owned, so discounts will vary (call in advance).

Dairy Queen: Seniors take 10% off, and some locations offer a free small drink. Discounts may vary based on location.

Dunkin’ Donuts: AARP members recieve a free donut with purchase of a large or extra large coffee.

Friendly’s: 10% off meal with free coffee at breakfast or free small sundae on non-breakfast hours.

Fuddrucker’s: Ages 55+ can take 10% any senior platter.

Krispy Kreme: Ages 50+ can take 10% off. Age and discounts may vary based on location, so call ahead to be sure.

Outback Steakhouse: AARP members can take 15% off their meal (alcohol excluded).

Picadilly: Ages 60+ can get a 10% discount with the Picadilly Prime Time for Seniors card. Prime Time is between 2 pm and 5 pm, Monday-Saturday, and 10% can be taken off the entire meal. 

Papa John’s: Ages 55+ can take 25% off online orders when they enter the code AARP25.

Subway: Ages 60+ can take 10% off, but discounts will vary based on location so call to confirm.

Village Inn: Ages 60+ takes 10% off their meal.

Waffle House: Every Monday, ages 60+ can take 10% off their meal.
